The first KRA Newsletter I believe, was published in late 1988 hand typed, copied, folded and stapled. This was of course long before the introduction of home computing, broadband networks and even email was only just becoming a twinkle in the eye. So by todays’ standards a pretty lengthy process and no doubt pretty tedious and time consuming.
It is of course now fully computerised – for which I am eternally grateful!! Having taken over the role of Editor in October 2010 it is now so much quicker and easier for me to compile and publish. But with over 20 years of back issues around I wanted to try and collect as many as possible and provide them to our members (and other site visitors) as a sort of potted history of life on the Kingswood Estate.
Now this is no easy task as you can imagine but at least I am making a start and with a fair wind should be able to obtain the majority of back issues from various sources and will eventually have them all available on this site in a PDF format so you can read them at your leisure and print any specific copies that you wish.
Only issue numbers that are shown in “BOLD BLUE” on the below grid are available at this time. So using this grid, select the issue number (if known) or the month and year you wish to view and your selected newsletter will open in a new window for you to view or print as you please, when you are finished just close the page and you will return to this grid.
If you have any of the multitudes of missing issues that you are willing to lend me for a while then do please let me know, or just drop them round – thanks.
NOTE: Owing to privacy issues it has been decided that ALL our newsletters will no longer be freely available for anyone to download and/or read. They are still available to all but you MUST request the copy you want using our “Contact Us” page providing the issue number(s) plus your name, address, email and a phone contact. This system will be effective from January 25th 2018. Sorry if this causes anyone any difficulties but we must protect the privacy of those concerned. Thank you.
NOTE: Issue numbers highlighted in bold red are one’s that I am missing, so if you have them please let me know.
NOTE: Multiple issues for the same issue number were also printed, these have been identified as issue 1, 2 or 3
